Spicy Sunset

Spicy Sunset mocktail


1/2 cup sparkling water

1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 cup lime juice

1 tbsp jalapeño syrup


For the jalapeño syrup:

2-3 jalapeño peppers

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar


Make the jalapeño syrup:
Remove the stems of the peppers and cut into slices. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and add both sugars. Stir until dissolved. Add jalapeño slices and reduce heat to low; let simmer for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.

In a cocktail shaker, add the sparkling water, orange juice, lime juice, and jalapeño syrup.


Fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Strain the mixture into a salt-rimmed glass to serve.
